Jim McDevitt, owner of Eagle Six, was raised in a military family; graduated from Virginia Tech; and flew helicopters while on active duty in the military. He is a member of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society with over 460 combat flight hours in gunships. Jim is a world traveler and adventurer. He founded and organized the annual Virginia Beach Polar Plunge, which has raised over $3,000,000 for Special Olympics Virginia. He is also Past President of the Peninsula Kiwanis Club, an international service organization; the Adventure Club East, and others. Jim is active in the community, serving on local Boards and Committees.
